Lessons from Forté

As a senior, I can say with pride that Cornell shaped me into a bolder version of myself. I'm happy also to say that Forté was an integral part of that story. But that's not all that it did; it showed me all the many things I can accomplish, who I can be for others, and ultimately who I can turn into.

I stumbled upon Forté during virtual clubfest and was immediately drawn in by the warm smiles on the girls’ faces and their inviting atmosphere. As an extremely nervous freshman navigating the club scene at Cornell, Forté made me feel right at home.

Beyond career development resources, Forté has provided me with a community of inspiring and uplifting women from a diverse array of backgrounds whom I otherwise wouldn’t have met. Forté’s supportive and mentorship-oriented culture is what kept me involved for all four years of my college career.

Over the past few years, the presence of social media has immensely grown in our lives, whether it’s through countless hours of scrolling on Tik Tok or Instagram reels.
